Hi Hendrick, sadly, I agree with everything you have said here. I often wonder, “what’s the bloody point?” Humans are very reluctant to change their ways, especially if it means giving something up or changing a habitual behaviour. But I don’t think we should give up hope yet. Children have been walking out of school and demanding that our politicians change their attitudes towards climate change. Sure, it’s only a few thousand out of billions but it’s a little spark that could catch on. What do you think we could do to get people to change more quickly? I hope you don’t give up on your efforts to talk to people about climate change, and I thank you responding to my blog.
